I really like these brakes. Seem to work better ony park bike. They heat up less.
Got these pads to replace my metallic ones that came on my bike cause they were so loud when it got wet . I have been beyond pleased with these pads and the price !
These are hands down the best brake pads I've ever used for bike parks, long descents, and general trail riding. Easy to bed these, and didn't do anything special for them to work well immediately. My only gripe is that the metal backing (plate that contacts the pistons) was slightly too big for my Code RSC calliper. When first installing these, they didn't seat properly because the backing was contacting the calliper body. Just took a few minutes with a file to shave down the short side on each end of the backing, and they fit fine with no further issues.
They look legit, but we're missing the bolt and C clip you would get with new OEM SRAM brake pads. I guess that's where the savings are.
I’ve replaced the SRAM pads with OEM but these Basic Bike Co. pads are a step above.
I also have tried the Shimano pads too.
I’ll be coming back for more for sure.
